I'm Back and a BIG Thank You!

Hi everybody! Oh, how I've missed blogging! I am still such a newbie but was getting pretty used to it back in December. Let's just say, I thought that keeping up with blogging during student teaching would be possible, who was I kidding?! It is now April, and I've posted once! But, I'm happy to say I have two weeks left and am back to thinking straight and back to blogging! :)

I also have some fantastic news to share!.....

I got a job!!!

I will be teaching first grade at the school where I did my student teaching! I'm so excited, terrified, and everything in between!

So this is where my BIG THANK YOU comes in. THANK YOU to every teacher blogger out there! I truly had a successful student teaching experience and landed the job because of you all! I feel like my hours of blog stalking/pinterest exploring educated me more than any of the college classes I just finished. I have to say that I feel so incredibly blessed to have all you as resources at my fingertips! If you walked into my student teaching classroom you would recognize almost everything from blog world! I truly cannot thank you all enough. You are influencing teachers and effecting student's learning everywhere!

NOW! If you have some fantastic advice for me as first year 1st grade teacher, please, PLEASE share!! I cannot wait to begin this adventure with all of you!

Joining the World of Blogging!

Hi! Thank you for stopping by! I'm so excited to share my first post with you!

I'm Molly and I love everything teaching! From playing school in my basement as a little girl through my current place of student teaching, teaching has always been my passion. I could never be convinced that there is a more rewarding or wonderful opportunity than teaching. I also have this strange love of school supplies! Maybe you can relate?! :)

Stumbling upon teaching blogs was one of the best discoveries I ever made! I am currently student teaching in a 2nd grade classroom and am overflowing with wonderful ideas from teaching blogs! While I am still learning and taking everything in, I hope to eventually become a contributing part to the teaching blog community! :)

Thank you for all of the freebies and inspiring ideas! You are influencing children's learning all over the place!!
