April Currently

Happy Thursday Bloggy Friends! Thank you so much for my sweet comments about my job! I feel very welcomed to the "First Grade Club" and am even more excited to start this adventure now!

I'm also so happy to be back to blogging! I'm on spring break this week (PTL!) and have had a great time getting back into blog land and catching up on my blog stalkin'! For the cherry on top of my "back into blogging" week, here is my April Currently!

Thank you to Farley over at Oh' Boy Fourth Grade for this totally fun Linky Party every month!

I also want to say a big thank you to Miss DeCarbo over at Second Grade Sugar and Spice for the new-job shout-out she gave me on her blog! If you haven't seen her blog, you should head that way! Right now, she has some fabulous Pinterest Picks of the Week!!

I'm Back and a BIG Thank You!

Hi everybody! Oh, how I've missed blogging! I am still such a newbie but was getting pretty used to it back in December. Let's just say, I thought that keeping up with blogging during student teaching would be possible, who was I kidding?! It is now April, and I've posted once! But, I'm happy to say I have two weeks left and am back to thinking straight and back to blogging! :)

I also have some fantastic news to share!.....

I got a job!!!

I will be teaching first grade at the school where I did my student teaching! I'm so excited, terrified, and everything in between!

So this is where my BIG THANK YOU comes in. THANK YOU to every teacher blogger out there! I truly had a successful student teaching experience and landed the job because of you all! I feel like my hours of blog stalking/pinterest exploring educated me more than any of the college classes I just finished. I have to say that I feel so incredibly blessed to have all you as resources at my fingertips! If you walked into my student teaching classroom you would recognize almost everything from blog world! I truly cannot thank you all enough. You are influencing teachers and effecting student's learning everywhere!

NOW! If you have some fantastic advice for me as first year 1st grade teacher, please, PLEASE share!! I cannot wait to begin this adventure with all of you!
